Trigger Point picks up the pieces of a genre of music where emotion is expressed through aggressiveness, and oftentimes musicianship takes a backseat to the mainstream. Formed in Los Angeles, CA in 2001 by Mike Bashur (guitar), Dave Gentry (drums), and Taylor Wallace (vocals), and joined in 2004 by Paul Kelly (bass), who would complete the machine that is Trigger Point, it was inevitable then, that this combination of ability, influences, and ambition would soon be making waves in the national hard rock scene. Coming from three different parts of the U.S. with one goal in mind, to give the fans what their idols gave to them - a soundtrack to life.
Before signing with up-and-coming indie powerhouse Corporate PunishmentRecords, Trigger Point had been at the forefront of the hardcore hard rock scene in Los Angeles since their inception, taking over the West Coast with an undeniable and impeccable live show, and a unique sound, a delicate balance of unforgettable melodies, commanding guitar riffs, and chest pounding grooves.. With their debut full-length album A Silent Protest produced by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly) set for release in September 2005, the reparation of rock has begun.
Right now they're searching for a new bass player.
