Singing in quite a unique story-telling style - ironicly reminding me of the vocal delivery of Say Anything's Max Bemis - tracks like 'The White Flag, The Blue Sky' sound like Dashboard jamming with Coheed and Cambria - it's a little off-centre, yet still catchy enough to maintain your attention. Nathan's vocals are spot on throughout, taking centre stage in the mix as any one-man band should do. Never needing to go down the verse/chorus route, 'Maestro, My Maestro' sounds like The Remarkable Rocket crossed with the keys of The Maple State. It's a cute little song which I believe would be lapped by a lot of PT readers. Each of the six tracks on this release are fun and enjoyable and I can see Nathan and The Futile enjoying some success in the future. Read more on Last.fm.
