Sky Vs Sea was an experimental post-hardcore/alternative rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. The band formed in 2007 and their sound is composed of highly-effected ambiance, syncopated off-time rhythms, catchy and heartfelt vocals, and the occasional heavy and technical breakdown. With the new born EP that is "Earthshaper," it provides a years worth of work and exposes every member's strengths to assemble six songs ripe with definition, power, and intricacy. With drums that provide momentum and technicality to drive the listener's ears right into elaborate, thought-provoking guitars that blend in an atmosphere fitted with electronic programming that is all melded together by dual-vocals that exhibit dynamics and accessibility that allow this EP to be an audio excursion that anyone can dive into. It would be an understatement to say that the members of Sky Vs Sea held back in any way, shape, or form in the creation of this record. In 2008 they recorded a demo called Finally Arriving. Singer Orion Moses and bassist Brendon Boudwin were also in The Outlanders.
