CAZZETTE is Swedish DJ Alexander Björklund. The project initially formed with Sebastian Furrer and manager Arash Pournori in 2011, then with a focus on progressive house music. In 2023/2024 the project shifted focus towards a more jungle/DnB type of production.
The duo is best known for the songs "Beam Me Up", from their debut album Eject (2014), and "Sleepless" (2014), which charted in Sweden.
Within days of launching, CAZZETTE released their first release, a remix for Avicii entitled "Sweet Dreams (CAZZETTE meet AT NIGHT Mix) "on JOIA RECORDS and it stayed at the Top20 on Beatport Top100 General Charts for 6 weeks straight.
Their bootleg of Swedish House Mafia's "Save the World" was accepted as an official remix and their highly appreciated bootleg of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" went straight to the number one spot on HYPE MACHINE most popular after being uploaded on their Soundcloud page.
In 2016 Furrer announced that he would stop touring with the act, only focusing on the production side, explaining that his creative process was somewhat hampered by the strenuous nature of live shows. Read more on Last.fm.
