artist from buenos aires, argentina. currently a solo project almost in its entirety, revolving around composer Gab H. continuation/spiritual successor of the IDM alias gubs, for info on the beginnings of this musical journey check the wiki here: https://www.last.fm/music/gubs this time with vocals and an increasingly more experimental sound with either real instruments (collabing with a few other mostly anonymous people) or incredibly realistic approximations of them in a DAW (processed to death with effects). DIY approach, made up language with a mix of echolalia singing, generally ethereal and incredibly moody/dark sound, spiritual approach to music but with a certain twist, overall eclectic and volatile style range thru albums and songs, usually very melodic, very infatuated with imitating the DIY sound of very underground bands (especially from the 80s and 90s), the occasional sound collage or straight up noise interlude. yet still with an accessible enough intention because vitreaux monster's mastermind is always looking for the most ear candy of productions. even if it's rough and lo-fi many times. even if it's harsh, there's a certain sense of comfort in even the misery and pain. a prolific project started in july 2025 far more cathartic with each release as vitreaux monster's mastermind is genuinely feeling like being skinned alive spiritually by the end of the first year of the project. but there's a lot of promise held from these results, because a lot of the best art gets created in the toughest times. although the beginning is slow despite the albums coming in so fast; they're eagerly awaiting to be signed in to labels that give them maximum freedom of expression as their work is daring, even for today's standards. it's not exactly stuff that's never been done, but the combination of things and elements keeps it as exciting as can be. cassette tapes/vinyls/CDs are meant to be distributed with all the hype. live shows are a consideration, especially when a full band is put together. influences are: the cure, cocteau twins (especially the early work), bar italia (early work), smashing pumpkins, siouxsie and the banshees, cranes, low, drop nineteens ('mayfield' demo era), ween (1991-92 era), dead can dance (early 80s goth rock period), cleaners from venus, for against (80s-early 90s era, especially when they were straight up coldwave), victrola (italian 80s minimal wave band/duo), formes nouvelles (80s french minimal wave/post-punk band), deafear, baroque bordello (early demo material; french 80s post-punk/new wave band), drowning pool (80s ethereal wave band, way better!!), mémoires d'automne, nausea (belgian early 80s minimal wave group), the tremor sense, the fifteenth (UK post-punk 80s band), the still life (80s unreleased NYC ethereal wave band), politburo (80s italy post-punk), rosa luxemburg (80s-90s french coldwave band), neon (early 80s dutch coldwave/post-punk), ellysgarden, 391 (italian deep 80s underground various artists compilation series), italian 80s wave underground, dutch 80s wave undeground, as well as UK, germany, spain, brazil, yugoslavia in the 80s, some french bands (the other scenes need more attention), all of these in coldwave/minimal wave/post-punk/etc. czech shoegaze scene too. Read more on Last.fm.
