September Suicide is a band that started in September 2008, they are often considered the only Bahraini-Based Metalcore band. The band was founded by guitarist Lewis Bell and drummer Joe Dossary. Bassist Haitham Ahmed joined one week later. The band struggled to look for a singer, untill they found Sam Brooks. September Suicide was progressing well, until they realized that they needed a rhythm guitarist. So September Suicide searched for a rhythm guitarist untill they found Joel Hancock, then September Suicide was complete! September Suicide all live in Bahrain, a small island in the middle east, but all band members come from a range of places. Sam Brooks comes from England, Joel Hancock also comes from England, Lewis Bell comes from Scotland, Haitham Ahmed is a local from Bahrain and Joe Dossary is from England and nearby Saudi Arabia. September Suicide was initially named ''September Suicides'', this name was decided on when Sam Brooks and Joe Dossary thought of it, but was later changed to ''September Suicide'' due to a typo, while creating the band's logo. September Suicide's music is a range from metal to post-punk. Their music is varied as all band members have a different approach to music, yet all agree on one style, metal! September Suicide were interviewed and played live on Bahrain TV when they were only a band for one month! They stood out from other bands on the show because they played their own song, and were new as a band.
