cherryfocus rose from the still-warm ashes of a dysfunctional junior high school cover band from Quezon City in late 2019. Martin Orquina (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jo Paclibar (lead guitar), JC Villafuerte (bass), and Caleb Lomangaya (drums) first started practicing together in their school bandroom in hopes of playing charity shows and bar gigs, but got interrupted by the start of the pandemic in 2020. This however gave them a unique opportunity to focus on making their own songs instead. Upon JC's leave from the band in 2024, Yael Ledesma a long time friend of the band and tambourinist took the reigns as it's new bassist. cherryfocus will return. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/cherryfocus">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
