A belorussian art rock band Zombie Zoo was founded in Minsk 2003.
The main purpose of the band were creating of music with specific structure and sophisticated poetic content. Then after a number of concerts the first drummer of the band (Sergey Sucharev) has left Zombie Zoo and the band's crew changed.
Nowadays Zombie zoo are:
1. Evgeny Melnikov - vocals
2. Dmitry Koteshov - guitar
3. Slavomir Stelmachonok - bass
4. Sergey Pashkevich - drums and percussion
5. Natalia Kunitskaya - Piano
The musicians of the band are eager to create and represent their music in the very special way of freedom and psychedelical inspiration.
Various lyrics used in their songs are differ from each other by style and expression.
In every song Zombie Zoo has its own special sound atmosphere and dramatic savour, which guides a listener into the strange world of Zombie Zoo.
Since the band's been born a number of concerts took place. Among them: the first gorgeous appearance at festival "Svezhy Veter" (14.10.2003), the concert for the club "Aquarium" in November of the same year, "Shamans party" in "NC club" (22.11.2003), a concert in "28 Club" (27.03.2004), 'AlterNet Festival' , an The Festival of Alternative music in 'Dynamic' in November of 2004, a number of concerts in "Graffiti" club and so on.
15.11.2007 - Zombie Zoo released its first single called "The Tiger", based on W. Blake's poetry.
