Xexa is a multidisciplinary Afro-Portuguese and 'Afro-futurist' artist with São Tomense ancestry, now based between London, United Kingdom, and Lisbon, Portugal. She has studied Music and Sonic Arts at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her work reflects the exploration of sonorities, making a hybrid of elements from African culture with synthesizers, sound design and voice. Xexa is a producer, composer and sound designer who has been illustrating a new sonic palette and aesthetic, working with music in many fields such as performance, installations, visuals and fashion. She is part of the Portuguese record label Principe Discos and, as of November 2025, released three full-length studio albums thus far: Calendário Sonoro 2021 (2021), Vibrações de Prata (2023) and Kissom (2025). <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Xexa">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
