There are two artists known as Wolves of Winter. 1) Desert Rock / Stoner / Doom trio based in Phoenix, Arizona 2) Alternative /Acoustic / Ambient based in Glasglow, Scotland (1) Wolves of Winter (Phoenix, AZ) Members: Josh McGee, David Weaver, Mike Horn Hints of Sabbath influenced riffing are combined with dark melodies, grunge song structure, desert rock grooves and blues based guitar solos creating a new sound all it's own. Wolves of Winter, often called a Stoner Rock band is based out of Phoenix, AZ. The band's sound could be described as "classic psychedelic heavy metal meets hard rock and grunge. They are currently preparing to record their upcoming self titled debut in Spring 2014.
