Wicked Boy - self-described as "a wicked mix of ambient, jungle and trash trance" - is the solo performing name of Johan Isaksson, a Swedish composer and programmer who began working with electronic music when he was age 10. His focus is on mixing straight-beat electronic compositions with external sounds and voices, viewing these exterior samples as other instruments in an overall orchestra of sound; in particular, he does not consider vocals to be any more important in his compositions than any other sound he chooses for a song. He has described his musical influences as Yello, Massive Attack, Prodigy, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers and Vangelis.
