Ventolyn & Becotyde is a 22 year old producer from the Galway City in the west of Ireland. He played drums for about 5/6 years when he was younger, later to just let it slip. Ventolyn then started making tracks in the latter of 2007 after many months of browsing through various software aplications and trying to come to grips with them. His first few tracks started to come together after being shown the ways of ableton by Jimmy Penguin in christmas '07 when they composed an album called, 'out in barna reading our books and drinking our tea'. This music making experience was a huge influence on his want to make a release of his own tracks. Shortly after he complied some ambient/down-tempo tracks under the name 'Robbing Splitter', that were online for a very brief period. In early 2008, he changed his name to the one you know now, Ventolyn and Becotyde and started to work on many tracks of different styles trying to find a sound he was confortable with. His debut release, 'Audissect' was released online in May 2009 for free download, which is an album compiled of the tracks he made while on this venture. Now with the old out of the way, he is moving on to new projects that are more attuned to his style. Read more on Last.fm.
