Under My Pillow is an Indonesian band from Bandung. Utilizes a broad range of genres and classic instruments to create their distinctive sound, including Jazz Fusion, Swing, and 60’s-70’s. Many songs are telling about gloomy stories but uplifting the positivity. Under My Pillow released their EP Langit Mendung dan Senja in September 2010. Wuri Widyani | Vocal R. Aryadillah met each other while they were both studied at the Fine Art and Design Faculty at Bandung. Each other have different appreciation of music genre. The four exploring music until their music have it’s own colour, afterall the four formed the band and named it Under My Pillow in order to live in their imaginary world and dive the dreams. Under My Pillow creates their songs in English and Bahasa Indonesia. ALBUM December 2007, their single Unfinished Fairytale joined RHYTM HARMONY compilation album by Oasis Record, distributed by EMI. July 2009, single Langit Mendung dan Senja joined SEA compilation DAY TO EMBRACE (Indonesia Indiepop Scene) by SEA Indie Record (Thailand). July 2010, single Gelap Terang joined SILENT SIGHT compilation by Stone Age Record (Jakarta). Under My Pillow EP Langit Mendung dan Senja released in September 2010 2011 Middle of 2011, Rama Saputra give an advice to evolve the sound direction and they have decided to change their name along with their sound and lineup in order to give the advent of evolve of their music and known as FA’AL. So, Under My Pillow has discontinued. 2012 Arya and Wuri were decided to continue Under My Pillow’s struggle and leave FA’AL, they’re maintain what has been achieved for years and get back on the track.
