Traffic signs was brought up in a rural neighborhood in downtown Marshfield, WI. His name was chosen while being stopped at a red light on his way to work. He has been producing records for 13 years. Infuenced by Tina Turner, he has followed the 80's dance movement. It has also been noted that he is in love with kittens, he has 38 of them. It is unknown where his obsession for kittens originated.
