Tigercity was formed in Northampton, MA in the fall of 2004. By January 2005, Tigercity had themselves a DIY, bedroom electronics-style demo. That following summer found the band in-studio with long time friend/engineer-producer Al Carlson. In two months, TCITY + AL molded the process-heavy demo tracks into what became the Tigercity EP (Forge Records). Time Card appeared on the VICE Magazine CD/DVD Vol. 1 Sampler in February, 2006. Now living in Brooklyn, Tigercity combines guitar-driven rock and electronic pop with hints of Roxy Music, Talking Heads, The Police, and Prince. Successful nights at The Annex, Club Midway, The Knitting Factory, The Middle East, Lit Lounge, and North Six have the band making waves from Jersey to Manhattan, Boston and Brooklyn.
