Tid (Time Is Divine) is a Swedish post rock / black metal band from Linköping, Östergötland, Sweden, founded in 2005 by vocalist; Claudio Marino, rhythm guitarist; Martin Persner and lead guitarist; Simon Söderberg. The founding members also included Arvid Persner on drums, Björn Nilsson on bass and Pär Glendor on synthesizer. The band described as a dark and dramatic, on the verge of film scores for a 80’s art / horror movie. Majestic, mystic and dreamlike music of the darker kind. ”Tid” is the Swedish word for Time. They are also referred to as the “sister band” of MCC [Magna Carta Cartel]. The band made their debut by the release of their 4-track EP, “Bortom Inom” in 2007 via Sounds of Zilence and their old website “timeisdivine.com” as a “free-for-all” downloadable 4-track album in WAV and MP3 formats. The band was active between 2007 and 2011. They remained on hiatus until 2016, when they returned with their full-length LP “Fix Idé”, featuring the original lineup.
