The Widow Babies are a Southern California four piece band consisting of drummer/lyricist Tabor Allen, guitarist Danny Miller, bassist Neal Marquez and vocalist Elise McCutchen. Their first release, The Mike Watt EP, is a concept album about Minutemen and fIREHOSE bassist Mike Watt and his battle with a vampiric Abraham Lincoln. The group's second album, Jetpacks was released on Jim Smith's Olfactory Records as a one-sided 12" clear vinyl record. Jetpacks features lush production (from Asthmatic Kitty recording artist Chris Schlarb) and only one song that exceeds two minutes in length.
