They signed to Peterborough (United Kingdom) label, Flux, for their débit single, 'Time Moves Us On', which was evocative of The Jam (circa 'Sound Affects'. They also contributed 'Just The Girl' to the label sampler LP, 'Flux'. The Way Out also released a power pop single, 'This Working Way'/'Just The Girl'. 2. The Way Out is a Canadian pop punk/indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario.
