Former BUTCHER BABIES singer Carla Harvey has launched a new project called THE VIOLENT HOUR in September 2024. At least some of the early recording sessions for the project have been overseen by producer Jay Ruston, who has previously worked with ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER and URIAH HEEP, among many others. In July 2025 , Carla Harvey released the debut self-titled EP from her new solo project the Violent Hour.
