The Victor Ship was built from the wreckage of many other Los Angeles area bands (Tacit, The Gamble, Dash Rendar, Tear the Sails, Bringing Back Valentine) who found themselves adrift in a sea of mediocrity. Tired of restricting themselves to a particular sound, genre or lifestyle, the members of The Victor Ship (Dave Dorosh, Matt Battaglia and Chris Buongiorno, Matt Romero, Madison Megna) began jamming with the intention of playing music on their own terms and leaving outside expectations at the door.
