Winners of the Austin Chronicle's first-ever Sound Wars Battle of the Band and named one of Austin's Top 5 Best New Bands in 2009 and one of 2011's Top 10 Best "None of the Above" Bands, The Tiny Tin Hearts are an 8-piece band from Austin, Texas, blending vocals with banjo, French Horn, trombone, violin, piano, cello, lap steel and electric guitars, bass and drums. Their genre-bending style crosses from symphonic pop to rock, folk and classical. The band formed in 2007 and released their debut CD Last Flight of the Martyr Aviator, produced by George Reiff, in September 2009. Their 4-song EP, Exactly Where, will be released in late spring 2011.
