Founder member and songwriter/composer Jon Campbell, has been considered by many to be the pioneer of the "Four on the Floor" northern/Scottish dance sound and along with fellow producers Steven Nelson, Paul Inglis and Colin McNeil with singer Debbie Millar, have been one of the only Scottish dance acts in Britain to sell-out mainstream concerts. Regrouped and performed at the revived Rezerection event at Room at the Top in late 2007, TTF recorded a new album "Dominator 2". The Time Frequency returned to performing gigs in 2013. After 7 years of no new releases, the band released a new single "I Can Feel It" with vocals by Cheryl Barnes in 2015, "Come Alive" / "United" in 2015, and the album Futurelands in 2017. On 10 September 2016, TTF's former singer Debbie Millar died. In 2018, the Time Frequency released two non-album singles, "Home" and "In Heaven", with the latter featuring posthumous vocals by Millar. In November 2022, TTF released the albums "Remixology, Pt.1", a compilation of past songs with new remixes, and "Escape", an unreleased album of new music intended to be released originally in the 90s.
