The Soho Cobras started life as Pistol Kixx. After departure of vocalist Carli Hart the rest of the band decided to rejoin forces for a new outfit. The Soho Cobras was born.
The name comes from an obvious source: lead guitarist, Rob Silver, liked the name of the band The Detroit Cobras, and as the band drink at the Crobar in Soho it was decided they should be The Soho Cobras. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/The+Soho+Cobras">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
