The Sisters of Morrissey was active in the early-to-mid 90s, featuring DC punk-rock stalwart Sean Epstein as a constant member throughout many lineup changes. The band recorded a 1993 single, "Travolta" b/w "Life You Won," which drew from Killing Joke, 9353, and The Descendents in equal measures. The single had radio airplay in the DC and L.A. areas and a pressing of the single was apparently given to a relative of John Travolta's. The line-up at the time consisted of Epstein, guitarist Mike Jetton, guitarist Dave Nicholas, bassist Rick Stein, and drummer David Smith. The band was highlighted in "Details" magazine in the early 90s.
