It's Ray Russell-time again, which means at least some good savage progressive style guitar. Typical seventies progressive rock tracks are effectively alternated with a few almost Procol Harum-like numbers, characterised by the plaintive voice of Alan Greed. This combination makes for a partly successful concept.
Neon was established by RCA Records at the close of the 1960s as a progressive music label in much the same way EMI Records had done with Harvest Records; Decca Records establishment of Deram Records; Philips Records forming of Vertigo Records and Pye Records mildly successful Dawn Records. Neon's releases are quite rare and are sought after by record collectors. Read more on Last.fm.
