Born in Monterey, California 1996, "The Real Goonie Jay" is an independent artist bringing fourth the grit of east coast hip-hop with a more modern melodic tone. After jumping off the porch and into the streets, a love for the cannabis business turned into a passion for growing. Like many others in the industry today he was ahead of his time, and incarcerated for it. Upon his return to the real world came a life in shambles, a newborn baby, and an impossible job search so he turned back to what he knows best, cultivating a career in music, and cannabis. Today Goonie Jay is a licensed grower, and touring musician. With over 5M streams on all platforms, he has managed to transition his musical success into a multi-faceted, well respected brand. Fatherhood plays a leading role in his motivation to succeed as he stuck by his daughters side, and stayed true to himself in his pursuit for success. Based out of Manchester, Connecticut he is very active in his community and intends to put his city on the map.
