The Raymies are six Southern California girls ranging in age from 13-16 years old. While living in "The OC", they write their own songs, play their own instruments and are building their fan base. These girls love to rock and make fun music. Sisters, Kiana and Kalina, handle the lead vocals and keyboard duties. Rachel is the Joan Jett of the group and plays lead guitar at warp speed. Madi, (aka: "Mad Dog") powers the drums and is responsible for many of the jaws that drop when the girls play live. Sean drives the rhythm guitar and sense of humor, while Justine wields the bass and dance moves It started with a dream and a softball game... Madi and Kiana played on the same softball team. Madi's Dad took her to a Go Go's concert where she got to go backstage, meet the band and even play drums for them after the show. From that moment on, Madi knew what she wanted to do! She knew that Kiana sang and asked if she was up for starting a band. They asked Kiana's sister (Kalina) if she would join in ..boards and vocals. The trio learned "Our Lips Are Sealed" and rehearsed it with their Dads playing guitar and bass. Madi's Dad put up fliers in the local music stores to find cuter and more talented bass and guitar players. Sean and Rachel answered the ads and fit right in on rhythm and lead guitar. Justine's Dad heard about opportunity from Madi's Dad at a baseball game. There was just one problem...Justine played keyboards, not bass! Her Dad showed her the bass line to "Our Lips Are Sealed" and she played it 126 times the night before her audition. When she showed up, she aced the song and realized that not only did she go to the same school as Kiana, she also went to pre-school with Sean! Very cool!
