The Nucleons are a German indie rock band established in 2005 by Glenn West and Leon Gawinski. They consist now of Glenn West (guitar/vocals), his brother Hauke (guitar/vocals), Daniel Kleinelsen (drums) and Luke Wendlandt (vocals/guitar). In 2008, The Nucleons took part in a local band contest and won a studio production of one of their songs. The band continued with recording at their homes and produced two full-lengths albums and one EP. Currently, the group is recording their third album Between Winter and Summer, scheduled for a spring 2012 release. In August 2011, The Nucleons have been confirmed again to be part of the band contest "Made in Schaumburg". The final concert took place on 3rd September 2011 in Rinteln, Niedersachsen. They won the 2nd Place, three more days at Profund Studio.
