Founded in the summer of 2021, Los Angeles rockers THE LOUD BANGS were brought together by a love of shoegaze, ‘90s alternative, and German club music. The result is a unique blend of thick guitars, analog synthesizers, and fuzzy production. Their songs typically center around the subject of mental health. Sporadic howls, some oohs and ahhs, a few public domain field recordings, and kick-ass song titles seem to be all that’s needed to let you into their world. “Who needs lyrics to convey emotion? We can’t understand the words of MY BLOODY VALENTINE, or COCTEAU TWINS, or SIGUR ROS, and we still get what they’re singing about. Honestly, we’re no good at lyrics.
