The Legendary is an epic band steeped in good ol' rock n roll and old school metal. The ferocious three piece was established in the year 2013 in the heart of Munich, by its founding fathers Thorsten Rock (guitars and vocals) and Stefan Tönjes (drums) with the sole objective to create a sound that embodies their passion for the music they have lived all of their lives. In Summer 2014, Robin Matteo joined their cause. With his blistering bass lines forged by the bluesrock of old, he complimented the thundering sound of Thorsten's six string and the bombastic bass drum beats of Stefan perfectly. The Legendary were now complete and ready to leave their very unique pulse pounding mark on this vast landscape known as rock n roll. They have been compared to the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and Muse, but their unique brand of hard rock is more like a combination of Black, Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Guns n' Roses, and it fuses the gap left between the bands that inspired them and mainstream pop- causing even the most casual listeners to nod their heads to the beat of their sound and sing along to the catchy choruses. Hungry listeners all across the southland of Germany craved The Legendary's tonal tuneage, but their hunger could not be satisfied by the awe inspiring live performances. Like any band worth their salt, The Legendary treasured their fans and their continuous support to them was worth their weight in gold. So the ferocious three forged ahead to give back to those who stood behind them by crafting their first six song EP titled Pirates and unleashed this sonic Kraken onto the masses in the July of 2014.
