Having been voted into in the winning spots for MTV UK Brand New Unsigned Poll at the end of November, their forthcoming single 'NO TRACE' was produced by James LeRock Loughrey - Skindred / White Zombie / My Vitriol / Manic Street Preachers / Page & Plant / Bjork and Def Leppard. The Kut -'No Trace' is is dark and emotive track taken from the forthcoming 'Makeup' EP. Having had the privilege of playing London 2012 Olympics and the Paralympics after being selected by the Teenage Rampage Foundation, other noteworthy shows include performances at various UK festivals and a sold out UK tour - 'The Love Hate Vampire Shotgun System Circus Tour'. The band also performed DJ sets for Kerrang! Klub, London and a string of 14 dates on the Club Criminal tour. The band's last video 'Closure' was playlisted on Sub TV, Tuune, NME TV Radar and the Bongo Boy Rock n Roll show on 6 USA cable channels, Comcast Cable, CableVision, Time Warren Cable, RCN, and FiOS.
Since formation a number of other demos have circulated in the build up to the band's debut album. The working title for the debut has been rumoured to be 'The Love Hate Vampire Shotgun System Circus', named after their first small venue sell out UK tour. December 2012 saw the band's first unplugged UK tour, where vocalist Maha was accompanied by other female instrumentalists, Stacey Douglas from ANNIMA on acoustic guitar and Sophie Haynes on the Cello.
In 2012, lead vocalist and guitarist, Maha, also produced and drummed on a released album by a female fronted grunge band known as Argonaut. Set in to motion by Criminal Records at their studios, Cartel Studios in West London.

2) British singer, guitar player and songwriter also known as Princess Maha. The Kut is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and a double UKSC Award Winner in the UK Songwriting Contest. Described by Classic Rock as a "refreshing blast of female-driven punk-pop swagger", her second album 'GRIT' shares her journey as an independent musician, reaching Number 1 in the Official UK Rock Albums Chart.
From the empowering hit single ‘ANIMO’ (meaning Courage), which won three songwriting awards (UK Songwriting Contest Best Rock Song, Best Music Video & the International Rock Award) to the anthemic punk tones of 'And 1 More', The Kut and her all-star line up have toured 'GRIT' and it’s Top 10 Rock predecessor 'Valley of Thorns' in ten countries to date.
This includes supporting high-voltage US rockers Electric Six, Japanese punk-pop icons Shonen Knife and Canadian power rock trio Danko Jones on tour, as well as festival sets at Isle of Wight (River Stage Headliner), Download, Planet Rockstock, HRH, Rebellion, Camden Rocks and BBC Introducing events - bringing a hefty dose of energy, unity and punk-rock spirit.
Following her chart-topping rock album GRIT, The Kut returns this summer with a new single, Sevens, releasing on June 20th. The track precedes festival appearances at Isle of Wight, Glastonbury, Clarence Shockwaves and Green Gathering, revealing a fresh, uplifting direction in her evolving sound. Read more on Last.fm.
