Robert Larremore aka ”The Impact Kidd” is a up-and-coming DJ and Rapper who hails from Riverside, California. After deciding to quit his first love baseball after high school, Robert looked for something different to inspire to, so he took up his second love which was music. Originally he took on the name of DJ Karma as he began producing mix tapes of different artists that he liked. Now known as “The Impact Kidd,” and only 23 years old with 4 years involved in the business, he has built a reputation within no major promotions, but simply through word of mouth which along with his talent have got him recognition by throughout the United States. Since changing his name from ”DJ Karma” to ”The Impact Kidd,” Robert has done projects with such fellow artists as NOE of Byrd Gang (Jim Jones Group), Lil B The Based God, Twinn & Fatt Kidd of Broken Equipment Productions, Lil Dee aka God’s Gift, Young Doepman of Hood Box Office GQ, Street Bang TV most recently with French Montana. As “The Impact Kidd,” Robert is best known for his blend tapes and providing “skrewed and chopped” versions of them. The first recognition he got for being an artist was by the Press Enterprise and their website PE.com, which is based out of Riverside, California. This recognition led to Robert being recruited by the 730 DIPS DJ Squad as an official DJ, which is ran by Freeky Zeeky of The Diplomats, Bully Squad DJz with association of L-Black from G-Unit fame. Just recently Robert was added to the Coast 2 Coast DJs best believe to hear his name in your speakers. As ”The Impact Kidd ” he just recently threw his hat in the rapping game and which has led to recognition in websites and other articles with the success of his new first single ”Nikes and Backpacks” which was an collaboration done with his friend and Hesperia local artist Andy Ortiz, aka “AO.” Being fresh to the rap game ”The Impact Kidd ” with only 3 months of experience, he has already been making a name for himself not just in Southern California, but as well as Florida, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Philadelphia, Texas and Paris, France. Nikes and Backpacks has been played on several underground radio & blog radio stations. Although Robert is currently unsigned, he is currently officially with Zone Gang Squad, who are based out of New Orleans. Robert credits such artists as Pimp C, DJ Screw, the Beastie Boys, the Wu-Tang Clan, Swisha House (Past & Present), Tum Tum & Big Tuck of DSR, and Killa Kyleon as his inspirations.
