The Falls is Australian duo Melinda Kirwin and Simon Rudston-Brown, renamed Falls for their US releases. At a time when for most it would be the end of a relationship, for Sydney duo Falls it was just the beginning. Melinda Kirwin and Simon Rudston-Brown, better known as Sydney duo Falls, found themselves better bandmates than bedmates, and headed into the studio to write a few songs. Falls soon found themselves heading out on tour with the likes of The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, and Passenger. Quickly catching the ear of Universal Music Group’s Verve Records, they signed to the label in December of 2013 and moved to the states soon after. With their debut US EP Into The Fire released in 2914, the band hit the Sundance Film Festival and completed a tour with Delta Rae that ended with three showcases at the SXSW Music Festival. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/The+Falls">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
