There is more than one artist with this name: The Curious Girl, creator of the album "For Sale", is Amylia (pronounced Ah-muh-lee-uh) Willard. She was born on December 3, 1984, at 10:20 ante meridiem in Ukiah, California. English is her second language, with music being her first. She is what is known as a Multi-Instrumentalsapien, but so happens to look strikingly similar to a human being. She made her first recordings at the age of 3, on the piano, with a miniature tape recorder. The recorder was held together by masking tape. At age 10, her father bought her a nylon string guitar. With it she parted the sea, and healed the sick. At age 17 she found the miracle of the conference mic and amused herself with free recording software. In August 2004, she was the passenger in a brutal car accident. She recovered like a phoenix, and rose from the ashes. It was then that her bionic identity was exposed. Shortly thereafter, she received settlement money, which she then used to purchase recording equipment, various bizarre instruments, some nice clothes, and fine produce. She built herself a quaint recording studio in her living room, taught herself the ropes, and began producing massive amounts of music. For a time, she also worked at strip clubs to support her music obsession, riding to work every night on a highway motor-scooter like Prince in Purple Rain. One night, however, she stormed out saying something to the effect of "eff this", and ran off into the mountains. Currently she plays one-person-band shows, utilizing a three-piece drum set, a guitar, and her veritably versatile vocal chords.
