Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, The Consolation Wars was formed in summer of 2008 by former DirtyCircuit frontman Jesse Sinopoli and local singer Jenna Richard. They began working on an album almost immediately. Their music is written uniquely in that it is done almost completely separately. Jesse writes instrumentals which are e-mailed to Jenna, who in turn writes lyrics to them. The only time they get together is to record their finished songs or to play live. After a 6 month hiatus, the duo went back to work in October of 2009 and began relentlessly playing live shows and gathering fans until the final release of their debut LP, Another Way to Be, in May of 2010. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/The+Consolation+Wars">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
