In 2011, TBMA stormed onto the electronic music scene with reckless abandon and disregard for any predetermination of genre. Emerging from Boston’s competitive music scene, seasoned musicians Joey Fisher and Chris Curran brought a unique mix of talents into the studio to forge a signature sound.
With their signature heart pounding bass music vibe, TBMA quickly proved their worth in the dance music industry. It didn’t take very long until some of dance music’s biggest hitters as TBMA found their tracks in the record crates of world famous artists like Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Feed Me, Modestep, Reid Speed, Dieselboy and many more. The duo became fan favorites with boisterous remixes for hits such as ‘Stay The Night’, ‘Jump’ and ‘Mo Money, Mo Problems’. But it wasn’t just remixes that grabbed the attention of listeners, originals such as ‘Showtime’, ‘Vega’, and ‘Obsessed’ have proved the prowess of these two talents in the studio.
2014 continues to shape up to be the year in which the duo will march (to the beat of their own drum of course) themselves to a whole new level with more colossal originals, remixes, and collaborations to come and grow their affair with dance music lovers. Above all else, this Fall marks a new chapter in the journey of TBMA as they have signed to perennial powerhouse in dance music, Armada Music with ‘Obsessed’ being their first single on the Dutch label.
In 2016 the duo stopped working under the alias and formed a new project named CLOAKS. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
