Formed in Oxford in 1991, the band regularly received the accolade of Oxford's Next Big Thing and in 1994/95 released two EP's on their own Indigo label: "Gluttony And Self-Abuse" and "Lily", to a growing army of fanatical fans.
1996 was their busiest year releasing three singles and the album "Variety", which although receiving positive reviews from the music press and also several TV appearances, this did not transfer to any great commercial success.
1997 saw the release of the controversial love song "When Martin Met Martine", and finishing a month long UK tour with "The Royal Variety Performance" at Oxford's Playhouse Theatre. The year ended with a limited edition release on Oxford's Shifty Disco label "If Everyone I Ever Loved Left Me".
All went quiet until 1999 with the release of their second album "...And The Ugly", a far more dark and sinister offering than their poppier debut.
Their 10 year anniversary in 2001 saw the release of "3652 Days", a collection of rare/unreleased recordings and their final single "Let's Make Love". Despite murmerings little has been heard of the band since, although in "Variety" they have left one of the undiscovered gems from the 1990's Oxford music scene. Read more on Last.fm.
