Hardcore hip-hop group from Chicago, Illinois, formed by emcees Chainsaw and Toxic, and DJ & producer Riot One, and also components of Chicago's crew Ill-State Assassins, founded by the four horsemen Kingdom Rock, Chainsaw, Massive & Riot One. Tha Chamba only released one album, "Makin' Illa Noize", in 1995. "Hood Thang" was its first single, followed by "Sayahlilsumthin". After the group disbanded Toxic became a platinum selling producer. Riot One started his own production company Sound Scandal Music Group & Chainsaw became an author. Under his moniker J. Wrice Sr. his first book ILL 4 LIFE! OUR TIME, MY STORY is about his life & time in Tha Chamba and the Ill-State Assassins.
