There are at least 2 bands named Terror Shark: 1.) Terror Shark is a hardcore band from Helsinki, Finland. The tale of Terror Shark began on a dark and cold evening in March 2013, in Helsinki. A bunch of friends were having beers in Henry’s Pub before Heaven Shall Burn gig, when Jesse Rantala and Daniel Hänninen decided it was time to finally put together a band. Shortly after this Petteri Pesonen was recruited as the bass player and the three piece called Terror Shark was ready to rumble. After a few years and demos, Frans Horn joined the band and took the group to the next level with his drumming while Jesse switched to guitar. In 2019 Terror Shark got a new thrive when they found a new practice place in East Pasila, Helsinki. In this land of concrete and murals, the four piece started to work on new material, more straightforward hardcore style that they like to call East Pasila hardcore. While Daniel took again double role with both guitar and vocals, the whole group started to take part in composing which took the new material to another level. Thus, Terror Shark's debut album, "EPHC", was published at the doorstep of Christmas 2020. With this album the group had finally found their own sound and style, providing kick-ass release on many platforms. In 2022 Terror Shark will be publishing their new album "13 Tracks" and deepen their identity as energetic, aggressive and fun live band and continue gigs around Finland.
