Terra Samba is a brazilian Sambareggae group from Salvador da Bahia. In 1998 they quickly captured the hearts of the brazilian people with their mega hit "Liberar Geral". Typical for their music is its brazilian and carribean rhythm. A few more famous songs include "Deus é Brasileiro", "Na Manteiga", "Banho De Chuveiro" and "Carrinho De Mão". The band consists of members Mário Ornellas and Edson Souza, both former percussionists of the popular band Gerasamba. Their albums sold more than four million times. This makes Terra Samba one of the most famous and most popular bands from Brazil.
