Tango Mangalore is a one man project that was a created some nautical miles away from the shores of Zanzibar aboard some vessel in the winter of 2013. The music reflects the very life of a morbid sailor (while actually being one, although it would seem bizarre for one to fathom )in a rather peculiar mixture of darkwave, deathrock, wave-noir & decadent cabaret. I don't actually see myself as a musician or a composer or anything that grandiose. I merely narrate dem weird oceanic tales of ghost sailors and broken men praising gods of the celestial concave for redemption, and brides with seaweed hair emerging from the deep to seduce the old sea fellows, and all that in a loosely based synthesizer music of a spooky, funny, dramatic, mutant, theatrical and often self sarcastic atmosphere. Tango Mangalore has released "Aquatico Triste" (demo Cd) on May 11th 2013, an internet EP on October 9th 2013 that goes by the name "Songs That Proclaimed Solitude", a Limited Tape Cassette on July 30th named "The Sound Of Defeated Men" by Cintas Triangulares (A Peruvian Tape Label) and most recently another spontaneous and somewhat ambitious internet EP called "The Incredible Circus Of DoCtor MuTantO & Tango Mangalore". By the end of November 2014 a full 12Inch Vinyl Album will be released by Dark Liquid Records and it will go by the name "Comandante Macabro".
