Sworn Out was a musical project of John Galloway (Xehanort, Øscillatör, Rings of Saturn) and Brandon Odell (Grim) residing in Florida. They recorded one song entitled "Suicide Roulette" and immediately called it quits after its release. The band was a parody of the popular metalcore band Sworn In and as described by Galloway, he didn't want to take it further than just one song because "it was only fun once. It was a one time thing." "Suicide Roulette" as a song features lyrics and guitar rhythms that pay proper homage to Sworn In. As described numerous times, this song and the Sworn Out name itself was just for lighthearted parody. Both members are fans of Sworn In. The hashtags "#swornout" and "#bleghmovement" trended on Twitter back in March of 2014 and even caught the attention of Tyler Dennen (Sworn In's vocalist) who tweeted numerous times about Sworn Out. Read more on Last.fm.
