Though born and raised on the east coast, Switchup somehow found himself melting dancefloors on the west coast. With a musical history rooted deep in metal, and nearly 10 years of experience on guitar, Switchup entered the EDM scene when a friend introduced him to dubstep. The heavy beats, the bone-crushing drops, and that iconic "wob wob wob" inspired him to begin DJing. From there, Switchup's style evolved and now he can be found playing nearly every genre of EDM, often incorporating multiple different styles into his live performances.
