Sue Garner (born in Cave Spring, Georgia, on 6 October 1956) is an American indie-rock musician. Her bands include Last Round Up, The Shams, Fish & Roses, and Run On, plus she has recorded as Sue Garner and Rick Brown and as Angel Dean & Sue Garner.
After attending art school in Atlanta, Garner settled in New York - joining the city's nascent 'No Wave' scene via her band Vietnam. Stints in cult favorites including Last Round Up, The Shams and Fish & Roses (the latter including husband Rick Brown) followed before Garner joined the underground supergroup Run On in 1992.
Following the latter's split, she made her solo debut in 1998 with "To Run More Smoothly".
Her album as Sue Garner and Rick Brown, "Still", appeared in 2000.
In 2004, she released "Pot Liquor" as Angel Dean & Sue Garner. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
