State of Konfusion are a local heavy metal band from Spartanburg, South Carolina. They have been playing together ever since 2005. The band started out playing cover songs in clubs and bars, after gaining a following, began writing more material of their own. Inspired by the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Machine Head, Bullet For my Valentine and many more. Mixing some Hardcore and Progressive elements with Thrash Metal, they definitely create an interesting sound worth checking out. Recently, the band have self-released their self-titled debut album in February 2008.
