Starcasm is the solo project of Sydney musician Chris Cobb. Chris currently plays drums with international psych-rockers The Lovetones as well as burgeoning local outfit The Pip Branson Corporation. His chequered musical past includes playing with seminal acts such as 90’s psych-popsters Drop City, to live keys with legendary experimental electronic act Severed Heads, amongst others. Starcasm’s ’07 album "Scorpio Tales" featured many Sydney musicians, such as M.Craft (Sidewinder), Pip Branson (Sidewinder, Pip Branson Corp), Nick Craft (the Zillions), Luke and Holly Fisher, as well as Kristian Hill (Small Defence), who adds co-production duties.
