The Soul River Dogs’ philosophy is simple. We just want to play good ol’ Rock & Roll the way we think it ought to be. Our brand of music isn’t complicated, it’s not innovative, it’s not cutting edge, it just ROCKS! In our world there’s no Auto-Tune, no “enhanced” performances, no studio trickery – hell, there’s no music degrees. We just plug in and play. You get what you get. What we get is a charge out of creating and playing good solid rock songs. Individually, the members of SRD embrace a variety of influences but there is a common thread among us – bands who got it right; AC/DC, The Stones, Nazareth, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Sabbath, to name a few. The music of these bands is diverse, not derivative. It is timeless, not trendy. It is expression, not self indulgence. This is where music lives.
