A young band born out of Brighton, England. Something for Sophie sing catchy songs with a positive view on life, love and relationships. Something For Sophie formed in 2007, and quickly released their debut EP Giftwrapped, produced and recorded by Nathan Ironside (Lead singer and front man of The Stirring. This sold out within the first to weeks of availability. The band released their second record in 2008, (an EP titled 'Any Note Will Do') produced and recorded by Frankie Torpey at Rock factory studios in Harrow. Originally a four piece band, lead singer/rhythm guitarist Matthew Bray decided to front the band without guitar late in 2008 and Jonathan Gibson was introduced to the band to fill the rhythm guitarist role. Other members include Josh Bray on bass, Pete Coggan on lead guitar and James Challis on drums.
