Very few bands display the drive and determination of Skyway Avenue. Formed in early 2012, Skyway Avenue have been hard at work refining not only an widely varied and entertaining set list, but songs for a full length debut album, due for release in early 2013, with producer Jim Wirt, (Incubus, Elliot Minor, Something Corporate) attached to the project. Mike White, lead vocals, says, "Skyway Avenue was just the natural evolution of where I wanted the music I'd been doing since I was 16 or so solo - it's pop rock! The other guys in the band are my best friends in the world and they're the main reason this band is so fun to be a part of". With a single, Taking My Chances, due for release in November 2012 and a full length debut self-release in March 2013, Skyway Avenue are working hard to show the world real pop-rock again; fun, catchy, and filled with attitude.
