Two and a half years later, Skies Alive has a lot to say for themselves. Having started when all members were in high school, and going through multiple member changes over the past two years. The band is on their fourth, and most impressive release to this day. From opening for acts such as Sing It Loud, The Morning Light, Farewell, You Me And Everyone We Know, and The Years Gone By. Which help supported their last two releases, "Say It Back" and "All It Takes Is Heart". And touring the midwest and eastern states multiple times with bands like Danger Is My Middle Name and Take Cover. Skies Alive is leaving an impressive mark on the Minneapolis music scene. Right now, Skies Alive is pushing their current release, "Til I Die". They plan on continuing to tour the country, open for bands such as The Plain White Tee's at Journey's Backyard BBQ, and following dates on this summer's Vans Warped Tour. The rest of 2011 and 2012 will consist of touring, releasing new music, battling aliens, and continuing to make a name for themselves.
